Hyslop, Robert, 1918-
Variant namesCommonwealth public servant. Moved to Canberra with the first part of the Department of the Navy in 1959, and was Assistant Secretary until his retirement in 1978. He was Deputy Secretary-General of SEATO at Bangkok from 1970-74. His published books include two on naval administration (1973 and 1990), a guide to forms of address (1991), and perceptions of the role of departmental secretaries (1994).
