Trumbell, Virginia Pothoff.
"Ginny" Trumbell entered the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) of World War II in 1943 but was unable to graduate with her class because of a serious eye infection. Trumbell recovered and graduated with class 44-W-9 and served until WASP deactivation, Dec. 20, 1944.
