Morrison, Silas.
Silas Morrison, teacher and Union soldier, was born circa 1840, probably in Maryland. During the Civil War, he served with Company B, 110th Ohio Regiment in Winchester and Strasburg, Virginia, areas. In 1864, he was transferred to Company K, 3rd Regiment, Veteran Reserve Corps, in the Washington (D.C.) area. He was also hospitalized in Ohio, and was in camps in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
