Lander, David L., d. 1926.
Biographical note: David L. Lander entered the ministry in 1875. Before that he had been a school teacher in Missouri and with the Cherokee Nation. During his career as a Presbyterian minister, Reverend Lander served churches in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, California, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.
Lander married Ella Allin, of Carthage, Missouri, and the couple had four children. Lander began his genealogical research in 1880 and concluded it in 1922 when he wrote the third edition of his family's history.
