Florida. Fine Arts Council
The Fine Arts Council was created in 1969 (Ch. 69-106, Laws), succeeding the Florida Arts Commission. The Council advised the Secretary of State on methods to encourage art appreciation and participation. The Council also promoted Florida's cultural heritage resources. The Council was reformed as the Florida Arts Council in 1980 (Ch. 80-319, Laws).
