Maurice Fanshawe was an acquantaince of Murray's through their work in the United Nations Association (UNA). The letter from Murray, dated 7 January 1951 refers to "Miss Courtney", chair of the UNA from 1948-1951; and the letter of 28 February 1955 refers to UNA issues and meetings and concludes by thanking Fanshawe "for your work in our long co-operation".
