The Polish American Congress, Inc., was founded in 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. It is a political, cultural, and social organization whose purpose is to promote Polish culture in the United States, to support freedom and independence for the people of Poland; and to sponsor social and cultural activities among its branches that will unite Polish Americans. The organization publishes a quarterly newsletter, the Polish American Congress Newsletter.
