1899-1901 constructed line from Paint Creek, WV to End of Track, WV. September 12, 1901 beginning of operation by The Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company. May 6, 1902 acquired by deed Kanawha and Paint Creek Railway Company. 1904 construction of line from End of Track, WV to Imperial, WV completed. February 1, 1905 all property and franchises, except rolling stock, river connection and franchise to operate as a corporation, conveyed to The Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company. 1905 constuction of line from Imperial, WV to Keeferton WV completed.
