Hallie married Grover Cooley of Tippecanoe County, a councilman in Clarks Hill, Indiana. Lola's parents, George and Amanda Sowerwine were prominent members of Wilkinson, Indiana. George was a merchant, banker, and postmaster for over sixty years.
