Jones, Edwin W.
Variant namesLieutenant Colonel Edwin W. Jones was assigned to the Quartermaster Corps. From 1948 to 1950, he was assigned to the Chicago Quartermaster Industrial Mobilization Planning Office. He was in charge of planning activities for special purpose rations and food containers in an attempt to record the knowledge gained during World War II (WWII) and in preparation for future mobilizations. These efforts were terminated due to the Korean War. Jones was assigned to the Chicago Procurement Office. In the fall of 1951, he was assigned to Korea.
