Hazelet, George Cheever, 1863-1926.
George Cheever Hazelet was born in October 1863 at Senecaville, Ohio. He was educated to the teaching profession and became principal of the high school at O'Neill, Nebraska. He had a wife and two sons. On February 7, 1889 he joined the gold rush to Alaska.
