Paul F. Burns was the manager of the Editorial Services Department, formerly known as Speech Services. The Editorial Services Department was responsible for advising and assisting executive personnel in the preparation of speeches and other public statements, coordinating requests for company speakers, and planning proper handling of speaking engagements accepted by Ford Motor Company executives. The printing and distribution of major policy speeches was also initiated by the Editorial Services Department.
