Harlan Hamilton (1927- ) graduated from the University of Colorado in 1955 and was Professor of English at Jersey City State College, New Jersey. His publications include: Lights and Legends: an Historical Guide to Lighthouses of Long Island Sound, Fishers Island Sound, and Block Island Sound, Commemorative History of Little Gull Light Station on its 200th Anniversary 1806-2006 (with Merlon E.
