Robinson, George I., 1829-1885
George Robinson was born December 13, 1829 near Greenwich, New York. He served in the 123rd New York Infantry Regiment, Company A, during the Civil War, rising to the rank of 1st Lieutenant. After the war, he resided in Schuylerville, New York, where he worked as a boatman hauling lime on the Champlain Canal. He was married to Elizabeth Wright (1832-1912). He died March 10, 1885.
