White, Henry K.
Henry K. White was mustered into the 23rd Massachusetts Infantry Regiment on 21 September 1861. He served both in the infantry and in the regimental band through the invasion of Roanoke Island; the Union occupation of New Bern, N.C.; and the campaign against Richmond, Va., in 1864.
