Sioux City, Iowa lawyer. Kindig was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1907. He served as an attorney in Sioux City (1907-1915); assistant Woodbury County, Iowa attorney (1915-1917); assistant attorney general of Iowa (1917-1918); Iowa Supreme Court justice (1927-1935). In 1935 he returned to private practice in Sioux City as head of the Kindig & Beebe Law Firm (1935-1950).
