Nelson, Daniel J., 1938-1991.
Nelson taught political science, specializing in internaitional relations, at Auburn University from 1969 until his death in 1991. His books included Wartime Origins of the Berlin Dilemma: A Study in Alliance Diplomacy (1976), A History of U.S. Military Forces in Germany (1987), and Defenders or Intruders: The Dilemmas of U.S. Forces in Germany (1987).
