Journalist.
Meyer was born in 1918. He graduated from Indiana University and in 1941 he joined United Press working in Chicago, Indianapolis, and New York before accepting assignment as a war correspondent. Upon his return to the United States, he worked for CBS radio and television and was a free-lance writer. He served a stint as press attache to the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, but returned to California to become a public relations executive in the aerospace industry. He died in 1989.
