Dangman, George, 1909-1989.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Enlisted in the Army February 10, 1943. Served with the 10th Mountain Division during World War II. Stationed at Camp Hale, Colorado; Camp Swift, Texas; Italy; and Camp Carson, Colorado. Achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Received a Bronze Star Medal for his actions near Madna di Brasa on March 4, 1945. After the war, studied art at Brooklyn's Pratt institute and became an artist.
