Carr, Samuel, b. 1782.
A native of Virginia, Samuel Carr settled in Charlestown, Ind. in 1810, where he worked as a carpenter. Carr also served in the War of 1812. Relative John Carr served in the state militia in the 1830s and was a judge for the Clark County circuit court in the 1820s and 1830s.
