The Ethnic Minority Student Health Science Center is sponsored by the office of the Vice President for Health Sciences. The Center was established in 1976 to increase the number of ethnic minority students who enrolled and completed programs in the health sciences in an effort to meet the health care needs of minorities and under served communities in the Intermountain area. The Center assists in recruiting, counseling, tutoring, and providing career guidance to minority students who express an interest in the health sciences.
