Variant namesIn 1965, the Legislature transferred the functions, personnel and properties of the Free Library Commission (WIHV85-A692) to the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Instruction (WIHV86-A116).
The Division for Library Services administers all state and federal programs relating to public and school libraries and librarians and for intertype library cooperation.
