The Consortium for International Crop Protection (CICP) was founded in 1978, and its member institutions include the University of California, Cornell University, the University of Minnesota, the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and others. The goal of CICP is to provide technical assistance for countries requesting aid in improving their capability for developing economically efficient and environmentally sound pest management systems.
