National Women's Relief Corps. J. D. O'Brien Post No. 149 (Oswego, N.Y.)
The Women's Relief Corps was an auxiliary organization of the Grand Army of the Republic which was orgnized at the close of the American Civil War to promote the principles of fraternity, charity, and loyalty. The organization's main function was to assist Union veterans and extend aid to their families.
