Hemenway, Luther S. (Luther Singleton), 1811-1891
Variant namesHorticulturist and author. He converted to the Mormon Church in 1843; started a nursery and was active in civic affairs in Salt Lake City, Utah; and moved to St. George, Utah in 1865 to grow grapes. He had three wives, the first of which was Elvira Day.
