Jeffcoat, H. W. (Herbert W.)
Herbert W. Jeffcoat (b. circa 1860) was a Lutheran pastor and preached in Alamance, Guilford, Watauga, Rowan and Cabarrus counties, circa 1901. He had at least one daughter: Cora Pearl Jeffcoat (b. circa 1890). She was a Lutheran missionary, and began working for the Watauga Mission, based in Boone, N.C., in 1923. She also directed the Lutheran Camp for Girls.
