Taylor, G. Hobart.
G. Hobart Taylor (fl. 1862) served during the Civil War as a Sergeant in Campany D, First Oregon Cavalry. A native of Jacksonville, Oregon, Taylor was first stationed at Camp Baker, Oregon, then moved with the battalion of volunteers in May 1862 to Oregon City, Oregon, to be outfitted with arms and uniforms.
