Riera, Robert E. (Robert Emmett), 1912-2000
Robert Emmett Riera was born November 30, 1912, in Pensacola, Florida. He received his commission as Ensign in the U.S. Navy in 1935, and advanced to the rank of rear admiral in 1963. He was appointed commander of the Fleet Air Western Pacific in Seattle in 1970. Riera died on February 11, 2000, in Pensacola.
