Lyford, Marjorie Elizabeth, 1910-
Nurse and professor of nursing, specializing in public health; faculty member of the College of Nursing at the University of Iowa. Served as Acting Dean of the College in 1964; first woman to serve on the University of Iowa's Board in Control of Athletics from 1970 to 1976; retired in 1976.
