Harry C. Boyte (1945- ) is a social theorist, action researcher, educator, and author. He is a senior fellow at the Humphrey Institute for Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota and the founder of its Center for Democracy and Citizenship. The Center embodies his commitment to extend citizens' involvement in community development and civic renewal.
