Thomas Denham was a Philadelphia merchant of general goods, half owner of the ships "Bershire" (the ship which transported Benjamin Franklin back to America) and "Flexney," who gave a clerk position to Franklin, upon his return from England. Reverse of volume contains several scaled mechanical drawings including those of a crane, coal stove and a scale, mathematical equations and other miscellany.
