Parker family.
The children of William Parker, Levi, Nicholson, Caroline, Ely, Spencer, and Isaac Newton, were descended from Handsome Lake, half-brother of Cornplanter. Nicholson and Levi were farmers, Spencer a war chief, Isaac Newton a teacher, Ely a Civil War general, and Caroline was known as the "Queen of the Senecas."
