Milo Andrus was a Mormon pioneer, missionary, and Patriarch. Born March 6, 1814 in Elizabethtown, Essex County, New York, he was baptized into the Mormon Church in 1833. He served as a missionary in England, Canada, and the United States, as a stake President, and as a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy. He is particularly remembered for leading several groups of hundreds of Mormons on their journeys to Ohio, Missouri, and Utah. He had 11 wives and 57 children. Milo Andrus died June 19, 1893 in Oxford, Idaho.
