A daughter of William Munroe, Sr. (pencil maker in Concord, Mass.), and Patty Stone Munroe; a sister of William Munroe, Jr. (founding benefactor of the Concord Free Public Library). Resident of Concord. Born (Jan. 4, 1819) and died (Nov. 22, 1913) in Concord. Member of Trinitarian Congregational Church, Concord. Charter member of Old Concord Chapter of D.A.R. Member of Woman's Christian Temperance Union.
