George and Marguerite Westinghouse were prominent citizens of Pittsburgh and also owned houses in Lenox, MA, New York City, and Washington, D.C. These materials came from descendants of the Uptegraff family, who worked for both Mr. and Mrs. Westinghouse for many years.
