Stewart, George Scott, 1888-1949
Variant namesPresbyterian missionary at Nogugu, Santo, in the New Hebrides, 1923-1925. Nogugu, a dialect of the Santo language, is spoken in the north west of the island of Espiritu Santo and Malúu is possibly the Santo dialect commonly referred to as Malo, spoken on the island of St. Bartholomew, New Hebrides.

The snapshots are most apparently of Thailand, including Bangkok, and the Philippines, with street scenes, shops, temples, houses and boats, and local residents. George Stewart (1922-?) was a cartoon artist and art director of Pacific Stars and Stripes during the Vietnam War period. His book, "What's so funny about Vietnam?'', was published in 1968.
