Rowe, Frederick H. (Frederick Harvey), b. 1857.
Attorney, insurance executive, Jacksonville, Illinois city attorney from 1889 to 1893, state insurance attorney from 1901 to 1905, chairman of Richard Yates, Jr.'s 1900 Illinois gubernatorial campaign, and chairman of the Republican State Central Committee from 1901 to 1905.
Rowe founded the Mutual Health and Accident Company in 1907, which became the Cloverleaf Life and Casualty Company before merging with the American Bankers Insurance Company in 1925. Rowe immigrated to Illinois from Vermont in 1882 and was related by marriage to the Yates family.
