Loudon, Samuel, 1727?-1813
Variant namesMerchant and printer. Published the New York Packet (1776) at New York City and (1777-1783) at Fishkill, New York. As state printer he printed the first New York State Constitution (Fishkill, 1777); also several issues of state paper money. He returned to New York City after the Revolutionary War to continue his printing business along with a bookshop.
