McFarlane, Neil, 1890-1967,
Born at his father's farm north of Grandin, N.D. Son of Duncan (1838-1907) and Isabella Lyon McFarlane (1852-1933). They emigrated from Scotland to Canada and in 1879 settled on a farm near Grandin. Neil served in the U.S. Navy in World War I, wed Nellie Fugate (1892-1959) in 1923. Worked as railroad station agent at Grandin, N.D.
