Kootenai Valley Railway Company.
The company was organized in 1898 to construct a rail line from Bonner's Ferry north to the international boundary (26 miles). It was controlled by a Great Northern subsidiary, the Kootenay Railway and Navigation Company, until the latter's 1911 dissolution, when it was absorbed into the GN. It was formally dissolved in 1915.
