The Academic Affairs Board began as part of the new committee/board governance structure implemented by Hope College in 1968. The Board's primary mission is to review and approve changes in the curriculum, address concerns raised by faculty and the administration that pertain to the academic program, and provide oversight for departmental and divisional academic activities.
