Political organization of St. John's Parish, Berkeley County, South Carolina and St. Stephen's Parish, South Carolina. The Southern Rights Association held a meeting on April 14, 1851 at Black Oak, South Carolina and resolved that its delegates to the general convention of Southern Rights Associations of the state would support secession.
