Williams, Marvin
Marvin Williams, Methodist minister, was born in Clark County, Georgia, on July 12, 1874. He graduated from Emory College, Oxford, and was licensed to preach by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South in 1901. He was admitted on trial to the North Georgia Conference of the MEC, South in 1909, and admitted in full connection in 1911. He died on April 4, 1937. He and his wife, Mamie Wood, were the parents of two sons and two daughters. A fifth child died in infancy.
