Brown, Marion Schoor.
Native of New Orleans, Louisiana. During her university years, Brown learned to fly in the Civilian Pilot Training Program and was later accepted into the WASP, class 43-W-2. Trained at Hobby Municipal Airport in Houston, Texas and later at Avenger Field, Sweetwater, Texas before being assigned to Romulus Army Air Base in Michigan. After WASP deactivation, she married and had two sons. She continued flying and later won the All Women's International Air Race.
