Anna Medora Brockway Gray was the daughter on Daniel D. and Lucena Harris Brockway, born at Northwest Mine, Keweenaw County in 1851. She received her early education at home and then attended Albion College. She took her medical degree at the University of Michigan. Dr. Grey practiced medicine in Duluth, Minn. for several years and was married to Willard E. Grey, an attorney, in 1884. They had one son. In 1889 she returned to Michigan with her husband and both practiced their professions in and near Calumet, coming to Detroit two years later. Willard died in 1924, and Anna moved to Plymouth in 1928.
