Garnett, Edward, 1905-1974
Variant namesEdward H. Garnett joined the Army Air Corp in October, 1942 and was sent to San Antonio, Texas for training. In 1943, he was transferred to Victory Field outside of Vernon, Texas. He wrote letters almost daily to Ms. Arlea Newman in Independence, Missouri. In March 1943, Ms. Newman joined Mr. Garnett in Texas.
