Indianapolis Urban League

The Indianapolis Urban League was founded in 1965 as an affiliate of the National Urban League, and is the successor to the Association for Merit Employment. It is a nonprofit, charitable organization whose purpose is to eliminate racial discrimination and create opportunities in housing, education, health, and employment for African Americans, other minorities, and the poor.
