Brothers William Lattimore (1866-1934) and Harry Hays Lattimore (1874-1931), along with H. H. Lattimore's son, Ralston Bond Lattimore (c. 1902-1970), were involved in Savannah, Georgia, real estate, including the development of Ardsley Park, Ardmore, Berwick Terrace, and Hampton Terrace. Ralston Lattimore aided his father and uncle in the development of Ardsley Park in the 1920s and later was a reporter for the Savannah Morning News specializing in articles concerning the arts and history. Ralston Lattimore later began a career with the Office of National Parks, Buildings, and Reservations under the United States Department of the Interior and served as Superintendent of the Fort Pulaski National Monument from1948 until the late 1960s. He also edited The Story of Robert E. Lee as Told in His Own Words and Those of His Contemporaries, which was published in 1964.
