Physician born in Elma, N.Y.; graduate of University of Buffalo Medical School, 1871. One of the twelve original organizers of the Buffalo Medical Union and Buffalo's first appointed health officer. State medical examiner of the A.O.U.W., and for over 35 years chief surgeon of 65th Regiment New York State Volunteers.
