Kirn, Louis J. (Louis Joseph), 1908-1995
Variant namesLouis Joseph Kirn was born June 8, 1908, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his commission as Ensign in the U.S. Navy in 1932, and advanced through grades to the rank of rear admiral in 1959. He served as Deputy Director of the Joint Staff in Washington from 1964 to 1965, then as U.S. Defense Attaché in London from 1967 to 1970. Kirn died on November 7, 1995, in Miami, Florida.
